Raw Verreaux's Eagle and Lesser Flamingo skull coming in next week. Look out for new pics of those, pics of the Olive Baboon skull, and a new complete collection picture. Currently I have a bunch of native raw skulls macerating, when I finish those I might upload a photo of all the native species, but I might change my mind and decide to upload a pic of the finished native skulls I have at this time. Thanks for watching, holla.
One-Tooth Betsy by Gesp56
One-Tooth Betsy
A few photos of the first skull I ever obtained. This skull is the only one with a name, One Tooth Besty, named so because she only has one of her incisors. She was discovered by my friend, Lexi, who told me about her. After a bit of reading and some confidence building I decided to go get her from her home in the woods and clean her up. She was already free of flesh and only needed to be degreased and whitened but she was still a hassle to work on. I love her greatly and I'm glad to have her in my collection. I checked her molars to a White Tailed Deer aging chart and it turns out she was around 2.5 years old when she died. She died relatively young for White Tailed Deer as they can live to 7-9 at the max.

Full Collection by Gesp56
Full Collection
A full photo of my entire skull collection excluding my first skull, one-tooth Betsy a female White Tailed Deer, as it resides on top of my desk and my native species. I'll be uploading more pics of individual skulls soon. I'm very anal about where my collection hails from and with both my skulls and my insect collection they both reside from either Africa or Indonesia. So all skulls pictured here are native to either of those two places.

The largest skull in my collection is a male Burchell's Zebra (Equus quagga burchellii) and the current smallest is a Greater Sphinx Bat (Cynopterus sphinx). I just purchased a Barbary Striped Grass Mouse (Lemniscomys barbarus) which could replace my sphinx bat as the smallest skull in my collection.

Starting from the left side, skulls are listed from back to front:

Male Burchell's Zebra (Equus quagga burchellii)

On the brick:
Male Steenbok (Raphicerus campestris)
Male Helmeted Guineafowl (Numida meleagris)

In front of brick:
Ostrich (Struthio camelus)
African Gray Crowned Crane (Balearica regulorum)
African Jacana (Actophilornis africanus)

To the right of brick:
Male and female Black Casqued Hornbills (Ceratogymna atrata)
African Openbill Stork (Anastomus lamelligerus)

Further to the right of brick:
South African Cape Hare (Lepus capensis)
Western Tree Hyrax (Dendrohyrax dorsalis)
Vervet Monkey (Chlorocebus pygerythrus)

On the left side:

Male Java Mouse Deer skeleton (Tragulus javanicus)
Male Reeve's Muntjac (Muntiacus reevesi)
Male Greater Mouse Deer (Tragulus napu)
Greater Flying Fox (Pteropus vampyrus)
Black Flying Fox (Pteropus alecto)
Leschenault's Rousette (Rousettus leschenaultii)
Greater Sphinx Bat (Cynopterus sphinx)
Horsfield's Treeshrew (Tupaia javanica)

Inside Glass Dome:
Male Jackson's Chameleon (Trioceros jacksonii)
Male Javan Humphead Lizard (Gonocephalus chamaeleontinus)
Male Maned Forest Lizard (Bronchocela jubata)
Juvenile Ball Python (Python regius)

In front of Glass Dome:
Asian Water Monitor (Varanus salvator)

Black Casqued Hornbill Skulls by Gesp56
Black Casqued Hornbill Skulls
A compilation of my male and female Black Casqued Hornbill skulls. They were both pretty expensive but I'm glad I purchased them, they're my second favorite hornbill species after the Great Indian Hornbill. They're both around 7" long and extremely gorgeous. Their casques are a nice dark brown and the skulls themselves are nice and white.

Male Burchell's Zebra vs American Alligator by Gesp56
Male Burchell's Zebra vs American Alligator
My male Burchell's Zebra compared to my friend, Maria's, American Alligator skull. My Zebra is only 2" longer than the alligator but has much more height to it, making the Zebra a lot heavier.

Well i'm Matthew, I was born in Italy and currently live in the U.S. I'm 18 years old. My interests in art have died over the years due to pressure by my family to pursue it as a career as I have no other talents, according to them.

To me, art isn't supposed to be a job. I don't want to have to wake up everyday and be forced to create something that may or may not peak my interest. Because of this pressure I've chosen not to paint or draw anything and I haven't done either in a couple years unfortunately. Fortunately though, my love for art has been replaced by my skull and insect collecting hobbies.

I rarely upload to this account but when I do it'll most likely be random pictures, my skulls, or my insect collection.Oh and i'm openly gay, thanks for taking the time to read this. If you have any questions shoot my a pm, and don't forget to check out my submissions and leave comments, critics, and faves!
